After Getting started a week late due to the weather...we got out this morning from The Highlands and were quickly greeted by an unpleasant East wind steady at 20 and about 1/10 mile visibility.
Anchored up on the 1st spot with 3 hours of incoming left....couple hits couple of misses then we connect on a good fish which rolls off the hook halfway home.....make a move shallower to 9 ft....tide is slowing and again its a few short fish and alot of hits...at slack tide the wind laid down and the fog dissipated....went back to my 1st drop where i marked fish and from there it was game on limiting out to 15lbs and releasing a bunch (not hunter 2 bunch of course)...fished till there was absolutely no bait left....water temp 49.1 incoming and 50.3 outgoing....all on clams
