Easter Morning YSA
« on: April 25, 2011, 10:51:20 AM »
Ran around Sat afternoon and Sun Morn looking for fresh clams to no avail. I think Capt Carl got em all....

Anyway had a few hours in the morning to fish so went looking for any action. Beautiful day; trolled a little near some marks mid bay, then found some real good marks near the reach 10. Tried some silver and some wiggly shads, but no dice.

Spoke with Rick, who was using up all of Carl's clams, they had a couple shorts but were moving to the clamming mother lode spot. I was running out of time so ran back and set up in shallow water and put out the salted clams I had. Couple bumps but no hookups.

Back at Wagner's around 10 with an empty fishbox. Seems like freshies are still the ticket. Try to get out tomorrow for some of the outgoing. Back to work Tues.

Nice to talk to you Warren. Too bad you didn't have time to run over by us. Good luck if you get out.
