Received from Tournament Cable.
Chuck and I are having a shark rigging day 5/13 and half day 5/14 where we're pretty much just opening up the shop to anyone who wants to come use our tools/facilities etc to rig, as well as doing our own.
We will have on-hand baits for rigging a number of different ways, whole, and fillet. Single hook and double hook with mono, wire, cable, or Dyneema leaders.
Rigging with circle hooks.
Forming haywire twist and the right way to break off the tag end without leaving a burr.
Wind-on leaders and their proper use. Both cable and mono.
Our complete facilities will be open for use if needed. People can make their shark rigs with our bench crimpers for both mono and cable and haywire machines to from single strand wire rigs.
And if you bring rods and reels we'll splice loops or tie an Australian braid loops for wind-on connections.
Or just talk sharking
.I am going to try to make it on Friday, the 13th. This should be a good prep for the shark season. Anyone else?
