Left Keyport @ 6:00 and headed for the Reach . Fish were rolling on top .Caught fish w/shallow swimming plugs ,on spinning rods.When the fish went down we set up trolling w/strecth plugs . Ben gets a hit and the next thing I see is his rod going by me in the stern .The rod holder sheared at the gunnel . Ben's rod was a St.Crouix w/shimano baitrunner . We do a quick about face and put on bunker snag hooks . Damned if he doesn't get hooked on his line and pulls up his line with the rod intact.The top ferrele in the tip was missing .Once he reeled in the slack the other thing that wasn't missing was the 32" bass at the end.Good fun,nice day ,lite wind .
