Windy day on the beach.
« on: May 05, 2011, 10:47:00 PM »
Man was it windy today.  We hit the beach at 7:30 up at Gillikins and slowly made our way south stopping to fish some holes along the way.  Say a couple skate caught and one keeper striper caught but as far as us catching,  nosmly.

The beach was alive today with sitings of a seal chasing blow fish and a blow from a whale off shore, pretty cool.

But the story today was the wind, it was cranking at about 25 to 35 knots and that was pretty awesome.  The casting was a breeze with that wind and no wind knots because it was off shore WNW.

Well next time we will see what happens, next week I hope will bring results.

Happy Catching

Paul

Nice try Paul.  Was out last night and it was pretty calm.  Out front and in the back.   t^  Thanks for the report.
