mike-john-doug started the day looking for bird life off the hook first thing.ran down the beach to the highlands bridge then offshore 3 miles.saw no life then got a call from a friend he was chunking bass 1 mile west of old orchard.we took the run to get bait and filled a 5 gallon bucket in 10 minutes snagging bunker.had a jumbo blue eat one as it was dragged across the top.made our way out to 19ft.dropped anchor and started chunking and was invaided with blues.stopped chunking and had a slow pick of bass and blues.lots of runs then dropped the baits.landed 4 bass with 2 over 20lbs.they had ling in their stomach.
