Are you happy you did it or is just as much hassle as drum  brakes? My trailer is a 2007 and looks like I need to replace them, so I was thinking about going to disc brakes. I don't need more stopping, just want them to hold up better. My thinking is that the disc brakes will dry better. I am just worried about the caliper slides becoming a problem.

Any thoughts?

I did mine about 4 years ago and have had no problems since.  I used the TieDown version and the kit was complete with all parts. The stainless brake lines were a little harder to bend than the regular ones but really not a problem.  So of the new kits have flexible hoses so that issue is solved.  You will definitely need the lock out solenoid for backing after you change over.

also I bought my brake lines from "Jeggs"
nice stainless steel and well made .
And well worth the short wait for shipping
