Capt. Paul had the Bill Mulliniks charter on board the Bounty Hunter today. Along with Bill were friends Mike, Jim and Newbies to Striper fishing Donna and Britany. As we cleared the Inlet in the AM it was obvious that NOAA blew the forecast as we were greeted with a sloppy ocean rolling out of the NE. We snagged some Bunker but Paul decided to pass on the drifting for comfort reasons and we went right to the Spoons. We pulled the hook on our first 2 hook ups but after that we were OK. We Spooned 8 Bass up to 41". It was the largest of the day and was landed by Donna. It was her first Bass ever. Britany had her first Bass ever when she landed a nice 40" fish. The guy's finished the job by putting 6 more large Bass in the boat. Conditions were not nice but this group worked hard for every fish and went home happy. clp clp
