Sat afternoon I received a call from Kevin Cole.
Kevin says Art we are going on my Friend George's 48 ft Ocean.
There was no twisting my arm.
Kevin says Art meet me at the Atlantic Highlands gas dock at 4:30 am.
I met up with Kevin & Vinnie and went to look at the boat !
I was in heaven when I stepped on the deck of the Pub 199.
15 minutes later George who owns Pub 199 arrived with Todd.
On my cell phone I start receiving Texts about a few storms heading east.
We turn the hook and half way down the beach we spotted some Bunker schools.
We tried snagging them and it was tough.
George tried getting back on the schools and 1 of the engines shut down.
The sky started getting dark & on our way back to the dock the sky opened up !
We crawled back to the Atlantic Highlands Marina & took our gear off.
At 11 am we were on our way to KMB to get Kevin's Fatties & Flatty's.
At 11:30 am we pushed off & Kevin took us down the beach and we found some Bunker schools.
We snagged enough baits for the well & Kevin searched around and found some Marks.
1st Drift yielded 5 Bass !
We caught Bass for the next 6 hrs & there was only 1 other boat on them !
We got back to KMB at 9:15 pm & I got home at 11 pm.
Today I am shot !
