Had Al Durso and the family aboard for a day on the seabass grounds.
Rode the beach through schools of bunker on the way to Seabass grounds but we didnt see much striper activity.
Just started fishing and the t storm rolled in putting a damper on the parade.
Once that passed we started picking at some seabass but it was very slow water temp dropped a bunch n the fish felt like ice cubes.
Picked a few fish at each spot and ya had to move on... the few keepers we got were nice size and the kids each got a nice knuckle head. Kev managed to bucktail a nice keeper fluke.
Looked for stripers on the way in but again we didnt see much going on in our travels.
Despite the slow fishing everyone had a good time and it was a nice day on the water!!!
By days end the guys boxed up 40 seabass and a keeper Fluke for the holiday fish fry at Al's.
Thanks again guys!!!
