Manasquan River fluke 6/17
« on: June 18, 2011, 10:37:02 AM »
Just a quick evening trip today.  Finding the ocean pretty sporty and devoid of bunker in the immediate area, we made the call to fluke in the inlet with some fresh killies.  first fish of the day (and the year) was a 21" 4.5lb keeper that came on a white bucktail tipped with a killie.   We picked away at shorts until darkness fell and the bite shut off. Back at the dock with dinner after just two hours on the water. TT^
