i fished the valley on fri. by myself for 16 nice rainbows from 14-18in.also 2 browns 17 and 19 1/2in.the big brown was a football, i havent had one that fat since the herring died off 9 years ago.called a few friends and off we went sat morning.the morning started off in a frenzy.the bite died after 3 hours.but we had a good pick all day.we ended the day before lunch with 24 rainbows to 18 1/2 and one 18in brown.the spoon of the day was a #7copper willow leaf with hot orange tape on half the spoon.
