I don't have a diagram but I'll try to explain the variation of this rig I like if and when I'm fishing bait. Mainly I use this one because I use braided line without a top shot. Anyway...main line (usually 30 or 40 lb braid) to a swivel. From the swivel I tie a 3 foot lengh of 50lb mono. Put the sinker slide on this stretch of line and then tie a swivel on the other end. From this swivel I tie another section of 50lb mono to allow 6 to 12 inches of line to the hook. For calico, clam, or sandworm I like a 6/0 baitholder. I don't bunker chunk, but if you do go with a bigger hook. I fish this rig from the beach alot and with the sinker being closer to the hook it allows an easier cast with less spin and wobble between the hook and sinker. Plus the braid won't cut through the sinker slide or the sinker slide won't fray the braid, whichever would occur first. I was skeptical at first thinking the sinker might spook wary fish being so close to the bait but have caught more fish on this rig than on the long leade style.
