Had a chance to make a quick run with Skunks son, Jim, for a couple of hours. Blue bird type day, outgoing with west. Fished in front of the Ammo pier with a ton of other boats for three drifts. One keep in the box on the spro. Traffic got a little hairy. The fleet is working heavy in the east reach but west of the pier. Not interested. Moved out to the channels. Put two more in the box. One at 4.5lb. Released about 20 fish between the two of us. Jim had the bonus fish today. He's put his spinning gear in a pretzel knot hauling in a heavy weight. We nearly peed ourselves when a stiper carcass surfaces at the net. Off the water for a quick cleanup and fillet.
