Headed out with my #1 fishing partner my Son Drew (Fish4life)and his girl Dory. They were home for the long weekend and ready to hit the ocean. We headed north out of SRI and were greeted with a hugh school of bunker off of Asbury Park, just a bit further north baits were crashing the surface we pulled up on the scene cut the motor and a whale comes up through the middle of the school
After enjoying gthe scene we moved up to the fluking grounds to pick through the doggies, skates, and short fluke. Drew was right at home sitting on the back of the boat working two rods and hooking up one after the other and handing a rod off to me every couple of fish. The wind turned out of the south and started to pick up so we moved into the beach near the Red Church where Dory and Drew tried to see who could boat the most short fluke in a drift
Plenty of action only 1 keeper fluke and 1 C bass in the box. WIll be out on the 4th
