Headed out with the John Gleason Charter Back After a amazing Striper Trip they had a few weeks back it was seabass on the menu today!
Headed back to an area we had decent our last bottom trip and it did not disappoint.
Spent the morning drifting small structure with no wind or current to speak of.
Decent pick but Just about EVERYTHING was a none measure big keeper including a Bunch of knuckle heads in the 2lb class and even a couple over 3lbs!
Hardly any shorts... picked keepers until the pieces slowed up and moved to another one... few ling and cocktail blues in the mix too. Pretty much everything had good life.
Bounced around all day and assemble a Very nice cooler full!
Not lock n load action but the bites came quick enough and were the size we have been waiting for.
Checked out 2 spots in another area before heading in and they were loaded with life as well but lots of little guys.
By days end the guys Boxed 119 Keeper Seabass with a few over 3lbs and a Bunch over 2lbs!!! 12 ling and a couple Cocktail blues were also added to the cause!
John n Crew were a blast as always. We look forward to seeing them on there fluking trip in Aug!
Thanks again guys!!!
