« on: July 14, 2011, 10:49:16 AM »
Anyone know approximatley how much it'd cost to get a boat trailer completely rewired with all new lights?

I did my small boat trailer myself last summer used the LED light kit from Harbor Freight I think I picked the kit up for around 26 bucks. The lights are nice but the wire seemed on the light side to me. I think it was only 18 gauge wire instead of 16. I would say it's a easy job even if you have a little mechanical ability. I have also used "The Trailer Parts Superstore" on line for trailer parts. Better Quality then Harbor Freight.

Good Luck t^

We can do your trailer for you.  There are quite a few light kits available. Not hard to do. If everything is rusty, get the cut-off wheel out and zip everything off. Leave the old harness in the frame and use it to pull the new one thru. Usually takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to do it right. Let me know if you want to bring it down.
I have a hand full of trailers to service right now.
