Irish Ayes Fluking 7-14-2011
« on: July 14, 2011, 07:55:22 PM »
We pulled out of Shark River at 8am with Capt.Joe, Bob G, Jimmy and myself and headed north. The wind was howling pretty good and the seas were tight around 3' and were aiming right at us. 2.5 knots drift was slowed down to 1.5 knots with the drift sock. A few hours later the wind settled down and the drift was at .5 knots.

We caught 46 Fluke with 14 keepers and 3 keeper SeaBass, and a variety of junkfish. A huge pod of dolphins paid us a visit along with a big sea turtle and then a small Mahi Mahi was swimming under the boat. TT^
Thanks Capt.Joe for a great day! chrz chrz
