 Seems like the bite is finally picking up. 13 shorts today most I caught in one trip this year. Water is clearer than it has been. With this heat we will probably be catching poached fish soon!!  slt

it's usually the opposite.  Water temps in Raritan Bay are up around 77 degrees according to my guage.  When the air gets cooler than the water you get the steam effect.
