7/21 - Squeezed one in with Capt Don Jr, Trevor and Paul. Fished in snotty conditions in the Ambrose and should stayed tied up. We had a handful of very short fish. Got bounced around pretty good. On the way out, Paul says "hey Jeff, your rub rail is flopping around." WT %$#%%?
Looks like someone played bumper cars with me at the launch docks late last Saturday night or Sunday morning after the Tourney . Bungy'd it off to the rails and continued our journey but only got a butt kicking. Repairs made yesterday. Still need to work out the blue paint they left as a present. You'd think common courtesy would be a note taking some ownership
. That would have been the right thing!
7/22 - Had my co-worker Peter and his two boys Benjamen (8 yr) and Lucas (6 yr) along with their 84 yr old grandpa Joe out for a short run to the front of the ammo pier. Bunker were real thick and it was a thrill to see these kids try and crank in the bunks on a snag! We drifted around for a couple hours and caught about a dozen healthy 17.5's for our efforts. All fish came on live snaps that were plentiful at the marina. Kids were knocked out after the first hour and honestly enjoyed the boat ride better than the fishing. They'll be back
