Kayak Fluking Seaside Park????
« on: July 31, 2011, 08:14:03 AM »
Hi everyone, I'm new here but no stranger to new jersey shore fishing. I've been fishing the surf for 15 years now. Since I was born I've spent summers down in Seaside park.

Regardless, I've been hugely into kayak fishing for the past few years and want to give it a shot down the shore/the bay.

Does anyone have any tips how to fish the seaside bay for fluke? I know a few rigs, and am reading that 4" yellow mullet gulp bait is the way to go. But is it really even worth my time to fish the bay for fluke or should i hit the waves? Is there any other good fishing (may weakies?) in the bay that's accessible by kayak?

Any help would be great! THANKS!

Fishing, with me, has always been an excuse to drink in the daytime.
