Sea robins??

I'll be in bayville tomorrow as well as point pleasant and I'm dying to catch sea robin because im new to ocean fishing and would like to catch something, don't laugh. Are they there , any advice? BAit, hooks? Help would be appreciated.

Any rig.. fluke or bottom rig with squid will probably catch you something..  always be prepared with a shinny metal lure.  like an ava jig.  say a-27 and an A-47  to throw on working birds and pick up some bluefish..

If you're in Bayville, and want to catch something, head over to Berkeley Island.  Bring some small size 8 hooks, split shot and bobbers.  Thread a spearing tail on the hook and have fun catching snapper blues. t^
