Tom and I started our morning in the Southeastern corner of Sandy Hook Bay about 7AM looking for some keeper Fluke. Trying all of our favorite spots known to produce, there wasn't enough action to keep us here and out we went to #13 Sandy Hook Channel as the tide carried us out to the ocean. Here we found all of the Sea Robins you could want and plenty of short Fluke. Just 20' off the Hook in 35' of water I caught our only keeper Fluke at 19½". Joining the small fleet of party boats at the North Beach produced shorts, Skates and small Bluefish. Once the tide changed a move to #13 provided more short Fluke and we headed back in at noon. The lone keeper hit a yellow Gulp© grub, killies worked well as did Sea Robin strips. Pete
