Left about 9am with the girlfriend and her sister & boyfriend. Got the lines in the water about 9:34. Started south near the inlet with 2 shorts and a bunch of small sea bass. Decided to work the drift north towards Beach Haven. As soon as we drifted by the first house BAM! Rod goes down, nice little fight, girlfriend netted the fish and I instantly knew it was a keeper. 23" and around 3-4 lbs. Spent 4 more hours around that same area with 5 more shorts, small bass, bunch of sea robins and 2 sand sharks. Great day for me going home happy, and the family had fun with constant action as well, no better way to spend LDW
