Headed out of SR inlet with son in law Mike around 10am headed for a lump just outside the bouy. had a light ssw wind and a water temp of 69 degrees. With a few other boats fishing the area we had good signs of life with plenty of action on every drift, Short Fluke, Sea robins, Skates, and a couple small Ling. we had a couple hours before the wind turned straight out of the south and picked up speed. We headed for the inlet and broke out the light rods the water inside was still mucked up but did pick at a few more short fluke. I did see one guy pick up a keeper right off the end of the marina dock
As always it felt good to be back on the water
