lake ontario kings on FIRE !!!!!

towed the HOW MANY up to oswego for a week of salmon fishing.the fishing was crazy at times,had to go to 2 rods because i could not keep up with 4.early in the week we made the 7 mile run to the plant,but the fish moved to the mouth of the oswego river.we fished in 80-110 ft. down 60-75ft.limit catches every day.most hits on pro troll ice house clear flashers with sweet pea or green crinkle flies.

Were you fishing the tourament ? did you launch from oswego or mexico? When I was there we did good from both ports. I give the dec credit they realy have a managed fishery which is great for the fisherman  ;)

yes capt. tim we were fishing the tournament.are biggest king was 24lbs.a far cry from last years 32.2 we had.a lot of fish were in the high teens.yes the dec does a exellent job one day they weighed and measured all my fish and cut the top part of the head off of fish that had tags itserted in their skull as finger lings.the next day they asked HOW MANY fish u caught and the hours u were out.i fished out of oswego,nice ramp and the winds were south so it was nice and calm.i also missed a nice brown at the net around 12 lbs.

Heard the fish were over that way on Sunday,but we had 3-5 footers in the bay and didn't want to make the run over that way.
