No class today and no work until 3 only means one thing, fishing. Started fishing for snappers around 10:20 with a 1/8oz spoon and got one on my second or third cast. Then I get snagged and lose the lure. The next smallest lure I had in my bag was a 1/4oz spoon which I thought was a little too big for the small snappers, but I had no choice. Spent the next half hour without a bite, the all of a sudden I get a hit. It didn't fell like a snapper so I'm thinking it's a small striper, wrong. I reeled in a 12" fluke. A couple casts later and another snag. I didn't have anything else in my bag that was even close to being small enough for a snapper so unwillingly I called it a day.
