newbie saying hello
« on: August 04, 2007, 10:11:38 PM »
Hello everybody. I just stumbled onto this forum and it looks great. I love saltwater fisher and have been for about 10 years fishing party and charters out of raritan bay.
Last year I got a good deal on a Mako250 WA that needed lots of work. I'm finally repowered with e-tecs and am ready to go fish on my own.....This site looks to be very promising. Hopefully I'll be able to find lots of good fishing areas and fishing tips.

see you all around.

Welcome Aboard Keith,

Just about every one starts out the way you did.  I did over 40 years ago when my dad and I bought our first boat a 27' Lures.  You talk about work she was an old wooden lap strike boat but a beauty after we got her finished.

I wish we had a site like this to ask questions on.  We had to rely on such places as Point Pleasant Hardware and some of the old boat works in Brielle,
Toms River and a few others I forgot already.

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Again welcome aboard

Paul
