Hey does it work in the suds?  I might have to give it a try this year.  I have a small chum thingie from the last seminar maybe I'll give it a try later in the season.

It works great in the suds honestly.. There are a couple of ways I use it fishing from the beach,, I use either a football jig head or a small bucktail White/ chatruse/ or pink, usually 1/2 oz up to an ounce..I will tip those two jigs with a 4" swimming mullet, white/chartruse/pink or a 4" pogy mullet.. I have some great days fishing these patterns for fluke..Try them You may catch all keepers but you will catch a lot and more than likely have some keepers mixed in.. t^
I spend 90% of my time fishing, The rest I just waste..

I know they work off the beach what I was talking about was the chum pots.  I was wondering if weighted and thrown off the beach if they would attract larger fish to come in.

I have used bucktails for a while not and they work great.  I use the SPRO pattern tipped with a white grub or a pink Fin-S and have done well.

I got a small bucket from a seminar I took over the winter I will be trying later in the season for stripers off the beach.  The only problem it will attract every dog fish for miles around as well.
