Total Lunar Eclipse

There will be a total lunar eclipse on Aug. 28th. 

This is the time when the moon will be full and during the eclipse the earth will be between the sun and moon causing the moon to glow orange.  Pretty cool... 

Unfortunately this will happen right before dawn.  For those of you that will be sleeping I hope to get some good shots and I will post them after the event.

Hi Nick,

It is really cool. I saw one last year and while using binoculars I was able to see two satellites fly by the moon.  Now thats real cool.

This year I will have my big lens ready to go.  800mm ready to snap away.  I hope I remember to get up early enough.

I will post some shots so all can see.
