Striper trip aboard a party boat

We got an invite to jump on a friends party boat today and took the offer. We were headed for the elusive striped ones....

 Left around 730 and made the first drop. Sea robins big fat sea robins.Second and third drops were the same along with a few monster skate.4TH drop had 2 keeper stripes. Moved around a bit, half way through the morning Michy landed her FIRST striper clp clp. Altho it was an inch short{seems the bass and the fluke are always that 1/2  inch to a inch short} :headscra:.

 Any way with the talk over the radio seems it was like that 4 everyone. Remember its fishin not catchin!
 it was another beautiful day out on the sea..

 We were gonna head out for the last 330-930 bluefish trip but not enough people.

 on a better note mom is feelin better and is resting comfy.

 I always tell the truth bad or good  t^ today Michy had 1 short bass,1 skate,2 sea robin's. I had 0 bass,1 searobin 1 shark. So yes she did clp.Seems after that last porgie trip all i can catch is sea robins and them sharks crap just about every thing BUT the bass.

 As much as i like to catch the biggest or the most its always nice to sea my woman catch . TT^
