Guy's keep forgetting to put this out there.there is a great real time observation site for the hook @ noaa ports then click on tide and weather scroll down to nj/ny area gives you wind speed and direction along with tide water temp and air temp all up[dated every 15 minutes or so. give it a look very helpful for the guy who is travelling down like myself.
