So I was watching football a few weeks ago and saw a commercial for 0% loans on 2011 Dodge trucks. I thought to myself maybe if I could get a good deal on a left over I would buy a new truck.
I call a dealer and told him what I wanted. A few days later he calls me and tells me he would sell me this $53,000 truck for $44,500. So I told him if he goes to $40,000 I will take it. He calls me back and said the best he can do is $42,500. I told him no thanks!

He calls me yesterday and asked if I bought a truck and I said no, still looking for a deal.
He tells me let him see what he can do.

He calls me back and tells me the best he can do is $41,900. I tell him fax me the sheet on the truck so I can see what it has. As it coming out of the fax and I am reading it and it’s loaded. I tell my partner looks like I am buying a truck. The third sheet comes out of the fax with a note saying that I can have the truck for $41,900 but if I want the 0% loan it will cost $4500.00 more for the truck.  So I call him and ask so you just want the interest up front? No he said it’s just more money.

What a joke 0% interest for 60 months.

  Not with a 10 foot pole Mike. All of the diesels out now are junk. Dodge is not using Urea, that's the only reason I was thinking about it.

I would like to buy a new cab and just replace the whole body, but can't get one.

My dodges never let me down yet. Theres a dodge dealer 4 blocks from my home. Ive bought 3 trucks from them...Werners dodge in belford.Talk to tom. I got a brand new 3500 heavy duty 4 door ram pickup 4x4 wanted 56,xxx got it for 43,000...Fully loaded cummings turbo diesel......try them out.

The 2010 and newer Powerstrokes also use Urea now as well.  I admit the regeneration process is just plain silly.  I still haven't bypassed mine yet, but I will once I get closer to the end of my warranty.

just go for a nice lease turn-in: 1 owner, 3yrs old, less than 36K mi, the bulk of the depreciation was footed by SOMEONE ELSE.

between the outrageous prices and slimy salesmen, just does not make sense to buy new these days, 0% or not....
