I'll make this quick.  Slow pick, 6 keepers.  First fish of the day was a 11 pounder.

Alright here is the scoop.  Was just to tired late night after doing a double header to post .  Will try to post pics. Was the mate for charter of father and three sons yesterday.  They were repeat customers and lots of fun.  Before we left the dock I netted one snapper and throw it in a bucket with some bait thawing.  After setting up the for rods I looked down and saw the snapper was still swimming pretty good.  I went and got my rod and sent him down.  Couple of minutes later, I hook a nice fish (first one)  and handed the rod over to the father in his seventies.  Ends up being the 11 pounder.

If it was later in the trip I wouldn't have handed it over, but it was worth it.  It was a fish of a life time for him.  They kept saying it was my fish and trying to be profesional I told them he did all the work.  After stressing this all day, I didn't want to take pictures of  me and the fish.  The sons all took pics with there phones and will be fowarded to me.  I will be out tomarrow and I am not handing off any rods.  I am done with my good deed for the week.  Its been a very long day thinking of that fish.

Just got back.  Same area, had 10 ny keepers. Biggest being 5 pounds.  I loaded up with snappers early, but no dormats.  Boat from the marina that was in the same area had a 9 and 6 pounder.  Great day.  By the way, did not pass off  my rod today.
