My biggest fear is when I die my wife sells all of my fishing tackle for what she thinks I paid for it!

Yes Sir we watch it every week  very cool this weeks show there supposed to get a huge storm I like Capt. Roundhead t^

I saw the show for the first time a few days ago. Seems like there was a lot of by-catch (butterfish) that went to waste. Not saying it is the comm boat's fault, just faulty regs. There was more dead by-catch going over the side than there were shrimp kept.  nosmly

 Yes thats an understatement.Why wouldnt you give them guys an Alloted amount this way it wont go to waste. smk smk

Port's out of Bayou La Batre, Alabama. Isn't that where Forrest Gump had the fleet of Jenny's? Little Fella (Miss Ashleigh)looks like Banjo Boy from Deliverance. Tough nut dangerous fishing. Still go out of my way for domestic shrimp to support these guy's as they been hit hard in the last couple years.

Shrimp boats are notorious for turning fertile areas of the ocean into barren wastelands.

I saw it and wasn't too impressed to be honest.  Then again the site of any sizable net going into the ocean just seriously is a turn off to me. 
The cure for everything is salt water: sweat, tears, and the sea.
