My son Jake and I went Tog fishing on the Bingo Sunday. It was cold in the AM with a north wind of about 10 knots. Maybe 2 ~ 3 ft sea. Once the sun came it it was a really nice Dec day. Fish on in the first two minutes after we anchored. Action was hot for another hours with some really nice fishing going in the cooler. No big fish, but 3 ~ 5 lbers and lots of them. After about an hour action cooled but we had a steady pick. We both limited out and then some. Whiteleggers worked for me in the beginning then they seem to want greenie later in the day. Wish I could figure out Tog.
Ran to an offshore wreck in search of a few bigger fish but only a few tog caught. If you had soft bait aka. Clam, there where plenty of Ling to be had on the wreck. As always Capt Jack and the Bingo are top notch.
