Santa came Unexpected
« on: December 14, 2011, 09:43:22 AM »
Received a package yesterday from Cabela's with a Gift packing slip. Trouble is, don't have the faintest idea from WHO? Inside a 12' Whuppin Stick Surf Rod and an Okuma Avenger 65 reel. Don't know anything about Reel, seems like a nice Rod and Reel set up. Wife has no idea either. I'll gladly use it, but this is driving me NUT'S. Any thoughts on this combo.  :headscra:

No contest-everyone that knows me, knows i fish vintage gear period, and with two in college, i know the last thing the wife would get me is a new rod. I'm stumped.

Awwww man, that's my outfit. When I ordered it I put the wrong address on the order form by mistake. PM me and I'll give you the right address to send it to.  ;D

Solved-well kind of. Letter yesterday with no return address and scraggly writing:
Thank you for all your help with Irene. Your Grandma taught you well and your family has always been there all these years. Merry Christmas.

Your Neighbor

Could've been anyone on the street since we helped bug out quite a few and battened down others properties who couldn't make it before the storm came. I guess i'll leave it at that. Karma?
