Christmas Eve Preperations

It begins today, Bacala soaking, shrimp,scallops,scungiles, and crabs donated by Luna Sea ( I know he had tears in his eyes giving them up)defrosting, its a 2 day affair for a nice seafood dinner Italian Style, Merry Christmas to everyone And a Happy Healthy New Year

This morning I opened up my big freezer and saw left over Crab Sauce.. Guess what I am eating tonight...

Yep, tis the pesci Season, Made my Calamari( bait) Salad today. Will let it marinate today and tomorrow, Soaking the Bacala. also,Fresh Cod, Flounder, Shrimp Clams, Crab cakes, Smelts and whiting.  My favorite part of Christmas.
Oh, and Biago's( Stogie Bill's) home made wine.  I have some for Carl put away for the spring  chrz

Nice, i remember those xmas's. now that Im the onlyone who eats seafood i make a shellfish marinara for me and my brother.

What times dinner ;D

It's an all day affair starting with the shrimp coctail, scungili salad and fried bacala, breath heavily then linguini with crab sauce, more heavy breathing rest a bit then fried scallops and shrimp and whatever you want left from stage one. Take a nap then the srufoli, homemade cookies , coffee canoli, If your lucky take a crap and go to bed LOL
so you can breath again, Hope Santa don't come too early
