False Albies in SHC 8/16
« on: August 18, 2007, 12:13:40 AM »
Was down the dock this morning and my neighbor two slips down came running down to me to show me pic's of hundreds of False Albies that were in SHC near the 3 can on Thurs morning........pic's showed at acres of them busting water.

Larry said he was throwing what he had at them to no avail, he then broke out snagging hooks and snagged one, that it didn't take long for his 12 lb test to pop......said not another boat was around. Just a cargo ship from Earle and it's escorts going out to sea.

Figures I was working the other end of the channel near the 13 can 5hrug

Larry knew I was out, but forgot his cell phone and could not call on the radio as it was on the fritz........my luck :'(

(but we were having a bannor day with the flukies, so I am thankfull for what we have)

Shaping up to be an interesting fall t^

Good report,

I am looking forward to this fall run.  The heat this year really bothered me.  I wish it would stay Spring nad fall all year.

Happy Catching
