need help with dog!!!

my dog has sores right below her mouth looks like cold sore only bigger its open and has small amount of blood and pus any ideas on wat this is or how it can be treated

Call the vet for an appoint and keep the area clean in the interim.

sounds like an infections.. call the vet for antibiotics...

Did you get your dog new plastic food or water bowls?  I owned a flat coat retriever that had the same reaction from being allergic to the plastic bowls. It never happened again when I switched to metal bowls.

i read that somewhere else too but no i have metal bowls i just washed them really good after i saw the sores and have been cleaning them they seem better no more pus or blood. i was thinking maybe she got it from something she drank or ate outside i have a small pond and or from the pool cover water

they call it puppy acne  even tho shes a year and a half its a lot better dried up a lot no more pus or blood thanks guys
