1st trip
« on: March 31, 2012, 11:34:56 PM »
Boat's been ready for a week and I've been chomping to get out there! Work seemed never ending today and weather wasn't exactly ideal but guess what I didn't care I was going. Made many calls no takers bad move on their part. Went to a favorite spot in NY water, outgoing and MARKS lots of em. Fished till slack and it was non stop! Lot of short striking fish ,lot of run offs ,and boated 6 up to 20 # what a night. Bunker was the bait and all the fish were returned to fight again.Be back at it tomorrow! slt

 t^ Good start.
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Keep in mind, Striper season in N.Y starts on April 15. I could be wrong though.  :headscra:

I thought so too, but I see a ton of boats over on the NY side.  Maybe they're rolling for winter flounder  :headscra: :headscra:

Nice. Great way to start it off
My Biggest worry is that when I'm dead and gone, my wife will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.
