Belmar's Seaport Project plans and AP's Inlet Marina
« on: August 23, 2007, 09:58:40 AM »

For all those who are intrested I just got off the phone with the Joe the owner of AP's Inlet Marina, who I am good friends with. He told me off the development plans by the Boro of Belmar He told me this has been going on talks about this project for the past 2 years but so far he has not been approached and has not been presented a check and or offer, AP's is still doing winterizations and sending out contracts for next year. All of this talk is coming from Belmar's web site and a couple of news paper articles. I am going to include the link to the plans that were summited to the boro council. I am Not sure if it will work, but you can also go to Belmar.com, then Seaport. I hope this helps out for those who are intrested t^

WOW this looks like another Eminent Domain rip off like Long Branch did.  Screw the business's that have been there for years to build condos.  What is so bad about boat storage??  The way it is going there will be no place to keep your boat or get it into the water!

Dave, that's happening in Florida every day.  Sell the marinas for big bucks to put up condos.

Not only that but if you read the report some of it will be classified "Affordable Housing",  That is what got the shore area in trouble in the first place and why there are so many people in my way during the summer.

Affordable Housing = higher taxes in the long run because who do you think pays for the Grant monies received by all the towns that partake in the money tree.
