my motors were stolen

1989 mariner 150's . When I repowered I droped the 2 motors at the corner of my property in my garden area. They were covered with a tarp for the last 3 monthes or so and then last sat. I removed the tarp to use for a mulch delivery. 2 days later they were still there and then today they are gone. WTF....they had no covers and had mice nests all over them. there are no marks anywhere so all i can think is 4 guys picking up and throwing into a pickup....... One had a thrown rod and they both have no covers.? they have to wiegh at least 500 lbs. WTF. meanwhile,, i have a johndeer lawn tracter sitting around and a 2000 harley in the driveway.....WTF

Parts baby Parts .. strip em down sell the good parts.. It a common thing happen at marina's right now!!

May wanna check the town.., maybe a neighbor reported debri or mess.. You never know now a days with people!!

Any scrap metal value there?  If so, check the scrap yards for recent outboard pawns.

We have people break into houses and cut copper pipe out for the scrap value.  Leave a lot of good things but the street value is not there.  Easier to get caught too.
