Left the dock after breakfast and headed to the south end of the Island. Took my girl and my neighbor. ( both first time fisher womens lol ) Sandbars all over out there, gota be careful. Some buoys were actually sitting on a sand beach. Was dead center of a channel ( driving slowly ) past the coast guard channel and ended up in 1.5 feet of water. Turned around and drifted right outside the inlet. The wind was against the tide. Pretty slow. No catching but a beautiful day to be out there.
Came back and anchored to the little bridge off of the causeway. Again, the wind was against the tide but once I placed myself right and tied up we chummed clam and picked up a few nice blowfish. Nice way to beat the skunk.
