went for an early trip today pulled outta the slip around 0500 broke the inlet and turned north again.
no fog this morning, and no bunker up top to be found all the way to the north end of IBSP. few small pods of bunker here and there but deep.
hit the end of the park turned south and trolled a white and a green maja spoons. marked lots of bait deep with fish under neath them with out success.
spotted a small group of dolphins off the beach too, maybe 6 of them. got a sorta almost pic of them to.
stopped for a drift and threw the fluke rigs out off the bathing beach, notta.
pulled that in and went to the reef for a day saver. caught about 20 seabass throwing back a few 13 inchers for another day, and kept two for dinner a 15" and a 18" both caught by SeaChelle on gulp. she also scored about a 13' fluke drifting in between the wrecks, also on gulp.
weather started off pretty nice, then started to get a wee bit snotty in the afternoon. oh, also started off the morning being greeted by a nice 8 footer right at the end of the inlet, seen it coming to all you can do is grab ahold of something
a couple pics;
really, there are dolphins in this pic, i swear
