Raritan Bay Sun Afternoon Trip 5/27/12
« on: May 27, 2012, 09:08:44 PM »
Well...started out a lil later then I hoped 2day... wasn't to sure bout the weather but it turned out to be just a beautiful afternoon! Hit alll my usual spots for the most part, three of us on board fishing, pulled up some coral, nice piece for Mom and my sister got a nice shell to paint or use as a ash tray hhppy... not even a nibble.  :-\ But I crossed over to Earl... got windy quick but we managed ok.... then all of a sudden, just when I was about to call it, BAM! cfzd Finally got a hit, pole was bent so I thought 'uh ohhh deeper chiller water and dead weight, hardly any movement here comes the skate'..but then there he was!!!  clp clp clp Dinner baby!!!! Only one keeper, shoot only one fish period. Not one short either..but one keeper is better than none at all right Capt's???  clp clp Saved the wings from when I fileted him up and soaking them now for tomorrows trip!  t^ t^ Hope you guys did good today and kill um tomorrow! Attached a couple photos... hope they are ok... Maybe I'll hear from some of you tomorrow! 68 right??? The chatter kills me after a while, but if I get the chance to meet up with some of you it will be worth it!!! Tight lines my friends!!!  slt Hope to post more tomorrow!!!

Your allowed to use the belly for bait but you have to have the rack on board
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.

Nice report and nice job.
Yes the chatter can make your ears hurt.
But the sound of a drag soothes the feeling.
Good Luck out there.

Good job. Glad you got one.

rofla You all are realllly to funny! I love it.. t^
Second photo, is a pallet I raise the table up on in front of my house so I can clean my fish. Being so tall, its hard to find a high enough spot, and i really dont like being hunched over the bucket with my board cleaning them that way. This way, its raised with a glass top, hose right next to me and the frying pan upstairs getting ready to drop them in when im done!  clp   hhppy
Now.... as far as the Rack thing goes...  :-\ are we still talking fishing.... 5hrug
Nice report and nice job.

WOW.......16 replies and 228 views! You are one very popular poster. Your pic of the fish is quite impressive if I may say so. Fluke fishing has been tough lately so feel good that you bagged that one. My charters have been concentrating on fluke for the past week 3,5,7 and 11 keepers amongst 4 anglers. It's been a slow pick as compared to last year at this time so stay positive. The big flatties are on the way. If you want to read my reports just stop by my web site at www.reelfunsportfishing.com.

Ms Fish.....hmmmmmm interesting name.
