Friday Met up with Kevin,Dylan,Todd & Jimmy at KMB.
We pushed off at 8:30 am.
Due to the NE wind we stayed in the bay.
Tried several spots for Fluke & it was dead !
At 10:30 am we called it a day !!
Sun met Kevin,Chris & James at KMB at 9:30 am.
Kevin took us down the beach and we anchored on a spot off the
Highlands Bridge and we caught Sea Bass.We also caught and
released several Winter Flounder & Jumbo porgies.
At 2:30 pm Kevin took us South off of Deal and 1 throw of the net we
filled the Live well with Bunkies.
From a distance we saw some weather heading our way.
It was dark and the wind starting picking up.
We decided to sit out the storm and once the Storm passed us we took
several drifts and all we got was a bunch of run offs but they were Bluefish
From a distance it looked like another storm was heading our
way.
To the North of us there were some clearing skies so Kevin took
us North and he searched around.No solid marks so we decided to try
another spot for Sea Bass.We bailed the Sea Bass till 8pm and crawled
back to KMB in a snotty Bay.
Due to the Full moon we could not get under the effin Bridge till 10:15 pm.
A quick cleaning of the Boat and I got home at Midnight !!!
A long Day it was !!!
