With the East winds blowing for the past week Fluke fishing has dropped off somewhat and today was no different. Not knowing what the ocean conditions were, Tom and I decided to try our proven spots in Sandy Hook Bay, which paid off, with five Keeper Fluke to 20½" for five hours of fishing. There were no Sea Robins or Bluefish caught, which limited our choice of strip bait. I stayed with fresh caught Killies while Tom had a hot hand with Gulp©. The bay was fairly calm with the wind dying off as we headed in at noon. Pete
