Fished a private pond in Saddle River. Loads of bass in there and no one fishes it. I usually go an hour before dark with the Jitter Bug and hammer them. Went last week and the fishing was pretty quiet. I think theyre getting to know me and the JBug. So when I returned I changed to a 3 inch shallow chrome diver. They loved em. Almost a bass every cast. This was the biggest one of the day. Seems like a spawned out female. Didnt weigh or measure. Threw her back to one day catch her again.
