Tuna Tales Tuesday 06-19 Sharking
« on: June 20, 2012, 10:31:57 AM »
Fished with Darren, Charlie and Joe for a sharking trip. Left at midnight and did not like the 4' SE leftover so went back to dock for a couple of hours and left at 4:30 am.

Fished the first half of the day a little more inshore and released one blueshark.

While on our way a little further off we seen BFT jumping and went on the troll quick and released one rat BFT.

Set up for the afternoon and released 12 blue sharks to 200 lbs. We even had a double-headed hook up. A lot of sore arms today. Gave it hell but no Makos for us today.

A little sloppy coming in with the confused South wind but still did 20 kts.
Got back in at 8:30 pm.

Water was 67 to 68.

Be back at it asap...

Nice trip Joe. Even though you did not get a mako you had plenty of action.  t^

Good job with the blues, and bft. TT^
A good day of fishing is better than a bad day of fishing. A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work. That means work sucks!
